It helps if you have something like this. This will turn the pano bracket at the exact center of the tripod. Don't ask me where to get one of these. I found this one on Ebay. Bogen makes one called the 3414, but it's not cheap. If you dont have one, you can just loosen the center column on the tripod and spin the center column. I usually use my pano bracket on a monopod so this part is not necessary.
