We acquired the Boyz last October after a serious search with a lot of help from the people on this list. Imperious Bulldogs was suggested as a very reliable breeder and so I sent an email to them and after they determined that we would make a good home for one of their babies they sent us pictures by email of two beautiful bully bundles to choose between. I showed the pictures to Nita and said, "Which one of these two would you choose?" She said, "I can't choose between those two!" I countered with, "Well then, we'll just get both." They're brothers from the same litter and we were blessed by that happy series of circumstances that led them to our home.
When they arrived we needed to get them some harnesses and leashes. We went by the local pet supply store and, although Nick, our first bully had worn blue and green harnesses, the only ones that the store had at the time in their size were black and red. We got one of each and again, I asked Nita, "Who gets which color?" She said, "Black for Zack and red for Zeke." Which of course I totally agreed with. Black just seemed to fit Zack better and the red seemed perfect for Zeke. We already had a black leash but needed another so the only choice was to get a red one to match the red harness. Those two colors now define the Boyz. Neither of them would seem right in any other color.
