Nothing else to say. You have a good "eye"!

Very interesting photo. Love the color of the eyes. I was wondering if you had a reflection other than brick what would it have looked like. Nice job, JDU.

John, Molly has beautiful eyes (and beautifully photographed, too...) No wonder you love her! Tim

Grrrr...eat picture of your dog's eye, John, and a good title to go with it. Nice colors, great detail and use of DOF. Hats off!!

Well done John. Regards to Molly.

Thanks Claudio. Luckily, I was able to find a combination of settings that worked here with Molly's face in the shade and the washing in the sun. This was one of my last attempts after hours of trying and was one of only a couple of shots I got with sharp focus right where I wanted it. The other one showed a reflection of me and my camera as well, so I preferred this one.
Cheers, John

Hi John,

Nice shot! I like the dark brwon color with lots of shades and texture. Good use of DOF.

Thanks to both of you. This was probably the most challenging thing I have tried to do yet and required a lot of patience and a bit of luck. BTW, my aim was to get the reflection of the washing hanging on the line so that I could use a title like the one I have. Mission accomplished. :o)
Cheers, John

Great shot, I loves the colors. Good reflection too!
Richard. (and best regards to Molly.)

This is lovely, John! I love the rich brown colour of her eye and the tawny texture
of the fur. I hope that even people who aren't keen on "dog photos" in general will appreciate this. My pooch would run a mile if I tried anything like this! Molly really is a
little star, isn't she? :)
