What it looks like from here

My hand, coaxing a few chords out of my old beater
It’s an early 80s Gibson SG
Bought it a few years ago for $400.
Cheapest I’d paid for a guitar in a long time.
Yea … that’s the paint wearing away in places on the neck … character …
I put very high end P94 single coil pickups (another $200 … still cheap) in it and wired it my own way.
The back pickup is just a resonator …
gives it a bark like a telecaster but still retains the old Gibson bottom end I like.
She can crank blues licks that would make BB smile …

I really like the SG's, a very cool looking guitar. I used to call it the Devil's guitar because the cutaways look like two horns. Anyway, cool shot.

Yea Vinay ... some of my favorite chords are simple ones ... moving from this in any position on the neck the the next lower major chord has a very powerful effect ... I use it a lot in intros.
