No Blood, Just Oil

Whether you believe it's a just or an unjust war is moot. Pasting a slogan like "No Blood For Oil" or the less visible "Thanks Exon" on a car (Maza MPV V6) that gets 18mpg in the city, or, for that matter, on any gas burning vehicle, seems just a wee bit hypocritic to me. There are at least a couple dozen folks like this cruising around Berkeley; this is the first one I actually caught parked.

Here in Canada 80% of the oil is home-brewed. Why are we geting pasted with higher gas prices? Oil companies. They are in together, it so obviose.

Oh, I don't know, Nana. Sure it'd be nice if they'd bought a more efficient car, but they may not
drive very much, and they might be perfectly willing to pay the $4/gallon we should really
be paying for gas to get people to take account of the damage they're doing when they decide
whether to drive or not. Or whatever our gas would cost if we had no military adventures in the middle east.
Cheers, Dan
