dreaming the pastures of Mice

I was attracted by this cat, apparently having a nap in this sheltered and shady corner, and took a shot.
When I realized he was not sleeping, I wondered what to do.
I decided to photoshop the image this way, to give the sense of his soul

don't worry
...and don't crop him !!!
he's only spending his third life...
there is a deeper wave than this
that you don't understand
there is a deeper wave than this
tugging at your hand

Oh, no!
At least it curled up and comforted itself...how sad!

no change required, it is simply well stated as is . . .each living thing has it's moment when this life ends. You dignified this one's ending more than it could have hoped for.

As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so life well used brings happy death.

I think I'll spend some extra time snuggling with Cassie today, and remember this one whose time has come. Thank you Adal.

Nice image of a sad event.

Sorry my friends, I had already experimented your suggested cropping, but doesn't work.
Guest 29-Apr-2004 03:44
poor thing. I think your choice of high key really accentuates the mood here. agree that it could use a slight crop. :(

an upsetting image presented very well. I would crop a bit from the right so this little guy isn't so centered. But I really like what you've done here.

it does look peaceful, a respectful farewell.
