It was a fun day. One of my former music students at Louisiana Tech University, where I taught for many years, used to play trumpet (cornet) in the "Jack Daniels Silver Cornet Band." The university had them on campus as a concert attraction several times. I'd been wanting to "tour" Lynchburg for 10 years. Never did make it to the distillery.
