21 APR 04 BUTTERFLY & CHRYSALIS

TAAA-DAAAA
I'm back to bugs
Or a butterfly & it's cocoon

I was scouring the house for a PaD
Was set to do something from my jewelry box & remembered the other cocoons

I've transfered them to a netted container
And Lo & Behold another butterfly has emerged

It's too late at nite to let it go, so it'll have to deal with the cage 'til tomorrow morning
I think this is a female
I think the first one was a male

SPRING!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We let it go in the morning
Oh Pete it is quite alright with me to view your butterfly images everyday!! This is a gorgeous butterfly and how wonderful to have cocoons.
You keep cocoons? That's a first I heard of this... I mean without keeping some of the butterflies or something...
Wow, that is just gorgeous. A black swallowtail. And he's brand new so his wings aren't all torn up yet. Perfect.
