I took the day off and drove to L.A. to pick up my mom from the airport. She was flying in from Doha, Qatar after visiting my sister for a couple of weeks. My sis is over there with her husband who is an engineer for a petroleum company. This is a sign outside of my town on the way south. I thought it would make a nice shot. I also got a shot of the famous LAX restaurant that I'll post tomorrow.
