Amateur astronomer Alex sets his sights on Venus.

Alex, our church hall manager, organized a "star-party" tonight for the Boy Scouts. Lots of clouds turned it into an evening of learning for Nancy (and some of her friends instead), whose scope Alex is aiming at Venus. We managed to get glimpses of Venus as a crescent, Saturn and it's rings and Jupiter and four moons. Next time we hope to get out of the city on a clear night.
