I used to travel often to New Jersey on business at the Hudson-Bergen light rail line. In August, 2001 I was up early and decided to take some sunrise shots from the Jersey City shore.
Little did I know how this view would change shortly. MK the company I worked for had a large office in the WTC NEAR THE TOP of the second building hit. We lost 12 people in the attack including some I’d been with just days before the tragic event. I was supposed to be in New Jersey that day but the trip was canceled or I would have been in the HBLR office directly across the Hudson River from the WTC.
