Christine

Among the funny comments on my yesterday's post (some very hilarious, thanks to all) there was one apart, different from the others.
Alexeig wrote:

"Nice cute car. The dark color and the street inclination convey an impression that it is ready to jump on an unsuspecting passer by.
With a bit more of contrast this image could illustrate some novel by Stephen King"

Intrigued by that idea, I chose another image I took of that car.
And following his suggestion, I enhanced contrast and photoshopped colours a bit to get them more livid.
Ladies and gentlemen,
thank to Alexeig's intuition, here is "Christine", the character of John Carpenter's movie based on Stephen King's novel.
(or at least, good for the Disney's version of that)
;-)

Great shot!

But, but - it's almost too cute and small and harmless...

Looks like the car is just waiting to pounce on the next guy who comes along.

More menacing... well maybe a bit, but it's still too cute... Just noticed the alloy wheels thought! The owner must treat her well (did I just say her? how on earth did I manage that connection? hmmmm Oh well something to talk about in therapy this week!)

Oh excellent switch - I, too, think the person attempting to peek around the corner gives even more a sense of risk, danger...which of course, is very funny considering how tiny the car is!

Excellent contrasting imagery.

A completely different feeling here compared to yesterday. Well done.
The gentleman who seems to be peeking around the corner adds an interesting
element.

I still want one ... even if it is predatory.

The person looking back (probably at you) looks as though he senses something around the corner.
It's amazing to me that they sell this car in black. It's the sort of thing you'd expect to see in bright primary colors, or maybe bright green with flowers.
In the movies, the mobsters always drive black cars and keep the bodies in the trunk. Where would one hide a body in this little thing? Can you imagine a couple of "wise guys" getting out of this car to look menacing?

I like all the people in the background contributing to this atmosphere . .perhaps they KNOW that little Christine is laying in wait . . .=)

LOL! Excellent. Christine was a scary film for me when I watched as a young lad! Still looks cute I'm afraid!
