The journey starts here in Aranyaprathet, Thailand. I took an early bus from Bangkok and arranged a ride to the border on this moto-contraption for 50 baht. My backpack (which was purchased in Vietnam a year earlier) sits in the seat in front of me. Poipet, Cambodia is just ahead.
