This is a distant shot of part of a flock of 11 Black-bellied Whistling Ducks found by Glenn Criswell on 5/10/03 in Lake Co. TN. Conditions were far from optimal with the birds being backlit, several hundred yards away, and a 25-30 mph wind! 2003 was a great year for Whistling-Ducks, with both Fulvous and Black-bellied being seen in the same area.
