Morelia is noted for its sweets. There'ss even a gallery/mercado to one side of the Palacio Clavijero, dedicated to the sale of tradition dulces Morelianos.
In the above photo, you see a modern, less traditional candy shop within a larger variety store.
The selection focuses on dried and preserved fruits, often coated in ground chile and salt, but much more is available.
On the other side, one can buy fine cutlery, cloth and even Swiss Army Knives!
