It was indeed a hard capture. Tried multiple exposures but because of the weather, right balancing of the shadows and highlights resulted in shift of one or the other. I did shoot this in raw and was able to retain details in the highlights, however, b&w conversion didn't do me much justice. Unfortunately, I had to work with what I had :). Thanks. Any tips?

The repeating girders and the B&W work very well. This was probably hard to control under the circumstances, but the background on the right does detract somewhat from the purity of the composition.

Good work Andrew. Lovely repeating pattern in the steelwork and works well as a B&W.

Brilliant shot, makes for wonderful B&W. Lovely pattern that leads your eye in.
