Thanks, yes i may have cropped the photo too close. I'm learning more each day. Yes you are right, the flower is a little over exposed. Each time I learn a little bit more. Steve thanks for all your information. I will try using the lasso and doing a blur and see if I like that.
Good close capture of the bee and flower, Linda. I think you are a bit overexposed, as I see detail lost in the flower, and the bee seems too light. As for composition, try to put the subject off center, as in the "rule of thirds". Moving the bee further to the upper right would work better and may even bring the second bud into the frame. I'm not troubled by the background, looks fine. Good work!
