February 28 2004:
Rock-a-bye Baby...

Jeanne is always saying that I don't get enough sleep, after having caught me out logging onto P-Base at 3.30am! So I thought I'd catch up on some today and take my PAD whilst sleeping at the same time.

Did you ever see the movie "eraserhead?" This reminds me of it somehow. That's a good thing. It was an awesome (albeit bizarre) movie.

Believe it or not, I had my arm stretched up above as far as possible, and put my lens on the widest possible setting of 28mm.

Great shot! Wondering about your setup, how did you have the camera hovering overhead??

Very nice shot and great lighting - must have been a good weekend for it - mine today worked out great as well!

The light reflecting off the couch makes it look like you have some crazy hair! Hope you had a good night's rest!

This is very sumptuous, Ray - it really has that 40's/50's portrait *richness* about it. Great work, like *everything* you've done this week.

virginiacoastline29-Feb-2004 19:03
I like Lisa's take on it . .a new disorder, LOL! 'Sides, who needs more than a good solid two, two-and-ahalf hours of sleep a nite =P

Tremendous work, Ray - very 1940's look and finish. Expertly done! =:)
Guest 28-Feb-2004 23:56
Wow, this is very reminiscent of 1940's Hollywood Glamour Star type Portraiture. Beautiful lighting and use of shadows here. Love the composition!
