Glenda, it is a Jefferson Electric Golden Hour clock, better known as a "Mystery Clock". Here's a link with some information:

You can also use Google to do a search on "mystery clock" and get even more info.
They are really cool clocks, and if you want to replace yours, you can find them on eBay , or you might stumble across one at an Estate sale or garage sale.
