Today I decided to post a photo from my archives. Tante Paulette was my great uncle's wife. She was also my Godmother. She lied in Egypt. I received a call today that she passed away. She would have been 93 in June. I took this photo in 1998 when I went to visit her in Alexandria, Egypt. This was the last time I saw her.
She is sitting on her balcony talking with her housekeeper, Rawheya. Tante Paulette was an amazing woman.
She suffered a lot these past few years. I don't understand why God took so long to give her peace. But I know she is in heaven and is watching over us now.
