Bravo! Thanks, Carol, for upsizing this picture. I just looked at it in original size on my 23" Mac cinema display, and it goes all the way across. The image shows a lot of grain and softness in detail, which helps the effect tremendously. It looks like an impressionistic painting and moves like an angry dragon.
Photo is sized too small here for all those wonderful details to come through, but I love the concept, and the long narrow shape of the crop echoes the thrust of the movement. This is the first of three images here that make excellent use of extended time (blur) to express an idea.
The amazing feeling of movement gives your composition an almost abstract feel, Carol!
