An imperfect picture with overexposed spaces, but this one just sticks to me. My mother believed that Mexico had been defaced, beauty lost to the Europeans. Whenever she grumbled about it, I teased her about "moving forward" on that old war, but she refused. I'm certain she's still railing about the "invasion" up there in the heavens.
