August 24 2003:Peacock Dancer


I have chosen this as it was my first 'people' shot since getting into the PBase thing. My life seems to be surrounded by people who are not keen on their picture being taken, hence you won't see so many such shots in my galleries. But we all like a 'people picture' and I got some enthusiastic praise for this one, when just starting out on this journey. Such comments really gave me a lift.

Shot at the Amazing Thailand Festival at Milford. Its organised by the Mudita Trust which aims to eradicate child prostitution back in Thailand. This girl was part of a dancing troup performing the newly choreographed "Peacock Dance", and a photo or two just had to be taken!
