Coffee and Smokes

Tennessee

Just goofing around with the Canon DR when it was new. Trying to see what it was capable of. A little bit of Channel Mixer and a small amount of sharpening.

Hello all. I have just sent this to Vikas asking him to remove this Challenge entry. My reasons are below. Like I say, I read the rules, but did not comprehend the part about "DURING THE CHALLENGE." I always say I am not too bright, just pretty to look at.

Sorry people,

Dale

After reading the question, I had to go look and find the "rules." I had read them before but evidently I didn't "understand" them. hehehe

This photo was taken BEFORE the Challenge began, not during it. So I must have it disqualified. Could you as this Challenge Mod delete this image for me? Hopefully, I will have time to re-do this image and re-post it. I will also include the EXIF in the comments somewhere.

One of my favorites so far...but a question - from your caption, does that mean this photo was taken prior to the challenge? (I surely hope not). -Ed Hahn

Dale: Nice. Heavy atmosphere, the image seems to "weigh a pound or two". Excellent use of high-contrast B&W. Constructive notes: Put the coffee and smokes closer together (the little bit of space still reduces the intimacy) and remove whatever is on top of the smokes (not recognizable until I read the title). Between this and C7 "Me", you clearly have a way with B&W. --Joe Reilly
