1-30-04 A :The Old Timey Barber Shop

a little "old timey" Barber Shop in downtown Atlanta. I went by today intending to go in and take the Barber's picture while practicing his craft. He had already closed for the day, so I decided to pop off a couple through the window, not expecting much. When I began to look for PoD this one kind of grabbed me. I noticed the old antique cash register sitting open. You walk in here and it's just like stepping into 1964! Another thing: who is that guru in the overcoat with a camera in the mirror? LOL

Mark, that's exactly what I think! The coolpix travels SOOO easily, I still have many plans for it! The SLR is huge, and heavy and not easy to sneak around!! Again, WOnderful shot, great feel!!

thanks Jeanne! You know I was thinking when I was taking that shot. Even when I can afford a nice SLR, I won't be able to stick it in my overcoat pocket and go to lunch. I think there'll always be a place for that little palm sized gem! Thanks for your kind words!

Absolutely charming. The sepia effect gives it that sense of history.
