January 9 2004:
Top Banana!

I'm having a lot of fun with my new Canon EOS 300D. Studio equipment tonight was a spot lamp shining on a red place cloth leaning against a waste paper bin.

Unique angle for bananas, Ray. It works well, and I love the red background.

Some of the most interesting bananas I've ever seen. You're studio sounds a lot like mine. Great work.

Mmmm bananas, make for good photos I just can't stand eating them any more. Reminds me of the first closeup shots I took with my G3, must still be on Pbase somewhere. Good use of available lighting!

Interesting color combo, Ray. I want to see the set-up. It's great to see the crazy and creative ways people are making these images. I commented on your onions a few days ago and couldn't remember who had the onions to come back to see which one you went with. I'll add you to my favorites for the future.

I use wash cloths and felt squares. :) Whatever works. All my bananas are overly ripe.. these look just ripe enough.
