This little Golden-Crested Kinglet flew into the window and lay stunned on the deck.
Luckily the dogs were inside snoozing beside the woodstove. She was motionless at first but seemed to recover in the warmth
of my hand, and gave herself a little preening. Finally she flew away, seeming no worse for her ordeal.
Such a tiny wee thing and such perfection.
