Thomas, I did understand the old-young theme of the photograph! Nothing wrong with posting the same shot in another challenge! Don't hold back! Look at Lonnits winning image in challenge 4 (exhibition). This was first used in challenge 1, but fit the theme of challenge 4 even better - and won! --Olaf

thanks for your comment. My idea concerned the opposites young - old, but perhaps the older person is not old enough to make it clearer. You're right, this pic could be used for quite some other themes, but I promise not to reuse it in another challenge :-)

Although "opposites" isn't the first thing that springs to mind, this is a very nice image! Had the theme been "eye-contact" or "human interaction" this would have been a very strong contender IMO. This photograph has a universal appeal. By that I mean it is not necessary to know the person(s) and/or background story to appreciate it as a photograph. Well done! --Olaf
