From the 1965 yearbook:

“Carhesian literally means “looking out. In years to come when the cover of the CARHESIAN is opened, and all of its treasures are revealed, then, and only then will its significance be realized. Within these covers is compiled all the pleasant memories, and happy moments of the WR school year. They have been captured not merely for the present, but for the future years. In a very few minutes one can be transported to the day when he was engaged in the activities of his high school life. They deserve to be remembered in the years to come.”

These are powerful words, ........and so true.
