The Garden in Winter

I looked out whilst having breakfast and there was this big yellow thing.......no not Tate Modern, but the sun.....
I liked the way the sunlight was reflected off the upstairs windows onto the chimney pot fountain.
Railway buffs will notice the old semaphore signal arm. The down slow starter from Harpenden Station.

WHat a pretty green yard. Nice capture of the sun! We too have our first day of sun in almost a week! My pupils hurt when I woke up!!

Very nice - I like how you captured the path of the low sun.

Well captured, Chris. Interesting that the light refracts off the windows and illuminates the pot perfectly!

Just in front of the chimney is the signal lamp.
It works on a time switch and has a redish bulb.
On a dull wet day it gives a little cheer.

Very characteristic. I was looking for the whole signal at first, not just the arm, or have you got some more of it stashed away somewhere? :-)
