Hi Gayle
I really like the lighting also. What strikes me about the shot is the warmth of colour from the right side. Did you light that side with a warm light?
Regards Rod
Dorys, the black background is a sheet of fabric. If you light the scene correctly, black makes an excellent backdrop because there are no shadows, and wrinkles and folds tend not to show as much as white or a colour.

I like the composition. It's help a newbie time. Is the black background added to the background at the time of the photo or is it a PS addition? Getting ideas for my exhibition shots...
Ann, I'm hedging my bets on Fluffy.....if I don't come up with something better, I'll move him to the other gallery. All my entries will actually be "eligible" cos I plan on shooting 6 different ones for this challenge.
Thanks for your comment.
Gayle
Fluffy looks great under your lighting er I mean banana. BTW, did you mean him to be in the Exhibition Gallery? He was born within the challenge parameters and could move to the Eligible Gallery if he wanted to. Ann C
