Bottom of the water bottle? I guess! Antoine

Wow -- this was WAY too easy for everyone. Yep, my F707 with two desk lights overhead pointed into the mirror. By tilting various ways I got cool reflections. A bit of pushing the saturation in levels gave the grainy effect. Gee, and I thought this one would be hard to guess oh well, let me search for some others stuff to capture. --Dee

camera lens?

Hmm... looks like a closeup of a camera lens to me... possibly the camera taking a shot of itself in a mirror? -- W R Somsky

I'm also guessing -- the bottom of a bowl? In any case I love the bright colors and swirling shapes. Ann C.

This is a "real" photograph. You can duplicate this photograph if I tell you how. It is a real object. It is cropped from the original. After taking the photo it was enhanced only with levels, and by adjusting hue/saturation pumping up each color channel individually. Contrast Masking layer was applied to balance the highlights and dark colors. --Dee
