Attack Dog (shallow DOF using f1.8)

I used the AI Servo mode as this dog ran toward me. It did a fairly good job of tracking the subject using the 50mm f/1.8 lens. Of course at f1.8, it left a very shallow DOF.

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/125s f/1.8 at 50.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

LOL! If I wasn't busy taking the picture, I wouldn't have realized that he was right on top of me by the time I was done. He veered off by the time he realized I wasn't running, thank goodness.
