I did it over and reposted. This time I used shadow and midtone Color Ranges to help make selections for masking the screen effect. Previously I used brushes on masks, but the edges were much too imprecise, and very noticeable at high res. Also some of the highlights were too bright before.
Most remarkable how this works, isn't it? I might have cut back a little on the opacity here as some of the brighter areas are a bit too bright. One way for getting around this is to select the areas that need the most brightening, feather the edges 1 or 2 pixels, pressing Control-H so you hide the selections and then playing with the levels sliders to see what looks best.
