Since the horse apparently didn't want to eat from Kathy's hand, the donkey made an attempt for it. The horse wouldn't let the donkey get any closer than what you see here in this picture. Understandably, the donkey became quite angry with the horse not letting him eat from Kathy's hand What you are seeing here is a very ticked-off donkey making a ton of racket at the horse.
