In a small town near where I live, so small you can hardly call it a town, there is an Abbey. I think there are about 12 or so Monks that live there. They have received some stones from an ancient monastery. The stones come from Spain, and have been at the San Francisco Golden gate park for many years. After many events and many people getting involved the stones have made their way to The Monks of New Clairvaux in Vina CA. They will re-assemble the stones into The Chapter House. The stones are over 800 years old and have a great history. The woman in this picture is Dede Wilsey the President of Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Her late husband was the driving force that brought the stones to the Monks. She is a beautiful woman, inside and out. It has been a combined effort of Mrs. Wilsey and people like her, along with the religious community to get the stones where they are today. To me this picture is a representation of everyone involved.
