My second daughter worked at a tourist attraction that had a petting zoo. One day they were moving hay around and a couple of momma kitties were hurrying to get their litters moved and must have lost count. Two were found separated one 3 weeks older than the tiny one who's eyes were barely starting to open (usually happens at about 10 days of age). We rescued both and raised them up. Oldest daughter took one (called her Sammie)when she got married. Second daughter kept the wee one and she was named Babie! Smudge helped raise them.
