Air conditioning at Lemolo Falls

Lemolo Falls doesn't usually have this much water. We were lucky to be there on a day when they were releasing a lot of water from upstream. For some reason, I was under the impression that the powerhouse was downstream from the dam. Maybe that's because they had a diversion channel, or maybe that's because I don't recall seeing water being released from turbines when we passed Lemolo Lake. In any case, it was over 100 degrees, and we were loving the cool mist from the falls. Leaving that and hiking back up to our car wasn't quite as nice.

At that temp I think I'd have been standing Under the fall, lol. I don't know if the mist would be enough. When it gets near a hundred here (happens a lot) I don't want to move. So humid, that looks so refreshing...
