Walking on top of the world *
- by Hewy

Shot this from a moving train as we were decending towards Zermat in Switserland. This is the Matterhorn region, these people walk at a height of around 2500 - 3000 meter on a very warm summer day. Shot with a polariser on.

A great capture!

Hewy- what I find really neat about the image is how the path sort of disappears over the hill to the right of the frame, and then the glacier heads up the mountain like a continuation of said path. Very Taoist. I dig it. 8) - JaimeZX

I think I've been through this area 20 years ago. Great scenery and great capture especially from the moving train. Antoine

What a great shot from a moving train, Hewy. The scene is simply beautiful and inviting...the hikers on the path set a great sense of scale. Nice photo. MFC

This is indeed breathtaking. Makes you want to walk to the top of the path so you can reach up and touch the clouds. Linda L.

A beautiful photograph of a breathtaking part of the world! The people look so small and insignificant next to those huge mountains! Lisafx
