Check out my space for a lot of these types of pics. My insurance company would hate me if they knew what I was doing. I pride myself on my ability to drive with my knees, or with one hand while hanging out the window or sunroof. Sometimes I have a hand on the wheel while the other is pumping out battery acid as it strains while supporting a Canon 10d with a 17-35/2.8L or a 28-70/2.8L plus a 550ex on a bracket (for some shots w/o other drivers around to be blinded by a flash pop).
Yes I was behind the wheel, I set the camera on the dash in front of me used my screen and pushed the button. When you spend as much time in the car as me...sometimes you have to take pictures while you drive :-)
