This new cathedral is called "Catedral de la Concepcion" or "Our Lady of Conception" and it built in 1995. It replaced the old "Catedral de Santiago" or "St James Cathedral" damaged during Managua's 1972 earthquake. Nevertheless, there are plans to rebuild old Santiago Cathedral to bring back life to Managua's old downtown. Thanks!
