****As I said in August, this is a magical image, Jen. Pure magic. It's the relationship of the chimneys to the fiery "smoke" that gives this image its incongruity and ultimate meaning.

I love how you work with clouds and context, Jen. Clouds by themselves, no matter how beautiful, don't really speak until you can juxtapose them against subjects that extend their meaning. You do it here very well -- the clouds become purple smoke, streaming from black chimneys. I have used this principle in a number of my own travel photos at:
