The last rays of the setting sun on our climbing rose,variety Cecily Bruner. A curves correction has been done on this,just to see how it looked.This photo was shot with the Nikkor 45mm-P lens that I got a couple hours before this.It's a good lens at this close range. I kept the speed at 1/90th due to some wind movement of this rose stalk,and had to shoot at f/4 as a result...which wasn't too far off from what I wanted to get depth of field-wise. I wanted to hint at the siding,more than render it sharply.
