The gentleman at the lecturn is Virginia Govenor Mark Warner. I saw a good part of the ceremony via C-SPAN that weekend. Inspiring to know that we gave our Navy a great ship for protecting us, and a honor to the man who made it possible. Being a Virginian, I have a lot of pride in the work they do in Norfolk. I've seen both the Reagan and the Truman under construction. For these flagships and symbols of our military, for those working on the subs that rarely see the light of day, and all the ships and boats of the fleet, thank you!
