The fruitbodies (pseudoaethalia) of this 'Raspberry' Slime Mold are columnar structures that can be found growing on rotting wood. As they mature, their color changes from pale pink to bright red to dull dark brown. By the end, they are ready to begin releasing their clay-brown spores. This all happens within hours!
