Yes, he crashed and destroyed this aircraft. This aircraft was built less than one hour from my home by air, and 3 hours by car. I was there the first day this plane flew, but I missed the flight. I took photos of it afterwards in it's hangar, the engine still hot. I got to see this aircraft fly a few times, and it's a shame that the aircraft was lost. Beautiful.... Read that the pilot/owner lost control during a ferry flight, crashed and lost his life. What a pity... Would have loved to see this aircraft fly.
