Blue Waves

Imerovigli, Santorini, Greece

Hoping and praying for a Blue Tsunami in our elections today. If you are a US citizen and have not already done so, get out there and VOTE.

This photograph shows one of the sides of the volcanic caldera. It formed approximately 3,600 years ago (around 1600 BCE) during the catastrophic Late Bronze Age Minoan eruption, which collapsed the volcano's magma chamber and sank underwater. Off in the distance is Oia pronounced ee-ya.
