My Grandsons Below The Scottish National Monument

Edinburgh, Scotland

This image was taken on a morning walk around Edinburgh including a visit the Scottish National Monument. I also attempted to get my grandsons to pose for this image which was easier said than done. Buying each of the boys the proper hat to wear was also an important part of our visit.

Two smart little gentlemen in their new caps, adding personality to this grand Edinburgh scene! The sweeping stone balustrade leads the eye towards the soaring monument, but your grandsons steal the show. Ornate Gothic arches and slender spires rise against a softly clouded sky. Fresh greenery and delicate flowers soften the imposing stonework, while leafy branches frame the upper corner. Their relaxed poses make this a lovely family memory — well worth the effort of getting them to stand together! Wonderful composition! V
