The Door Handles At Union Station In Washington, DC.

As we were leaving Washington, DC Last Saturday these handles caught my eye.
I thought they were pretty cool.

Great observation, Jane !
The top of each brass plate features a beautifully cast train wheel flanked by wings, a classic early-20th-century design motif symbolizing the speed, progress, and power of rail travel.
The circular insignia at the bottom of the plates stands for the United States, reflecting its prominent status as the grand gateway to the nation's capital. ~VVVVV+++~

They are very nice door handles well made solid and with a very important detail on the bottom US / United States.

Attractive door hardware, nicely captured. I haven't been there in so long, I didn't recognize the doors! V.
