Yesterday morning, we headed south on route 101 to Newport - checked into a Best Western.
After checking in, we took a short ride to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. It was so windy, we decided to return in the morning.
This morning, we skipped breakfast and did a revisit; was much better - got some good photos.
Then, we went to Fishtails Cafe for breakfast. We ate way too much, se we headed to the Yaquina Bay State Park and Lighthouse.
Since the Lighthouse wasn't opened, we wandered the hiking paths and I did some birding.
